The President of the Hellenic Democracy Prokopis Pavlopoulos described the Residence of Eleftherios Venizelos in Halepa, Hania, as a “Museum of National memory”. The renovated museum welcomed its numerous guests, who attended its inauguration by the President on Sunday, November 1st, 2015. “This place teaches us,” the President added, “above all, to the people and to our nation, what to do in order to not remain the porters of an historical past, but to take our share in the shaping of history, which is not over, but has yet to show many bright pages in its path.
