On Saturday, May 24, members and staff of the Open Care Centers for the Elderly (KAPI) of the Municipality of Chania, together with educators, paid a special visit to the Residence Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos in Chalepa, as part of the 2nd Chania Educators’ Conference.
The visitors participated in the interactive tour titled “Walks Through History Guided by the Arts” and had the opportunity to travel back to the era of Venizelos, drawing on memory and imagination.
The session was led by Ria Markoulaki, museum educator and head of the Educational Department of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos,” in collaboration with educator Vasso Barbayianni.
