14 May Celebration of International Museum Day.

The National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” participated once again in the celebration of the International Museum Day, themed “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities” with events held on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Inspired by this year’s theme and its subcategories “New Technologies” and “The Power of Youth,” the Residence Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos in Chalepa, the Birthplace of Eleftherios Venizelos in Mournies, and the 1905 Revolution Museum–Headquarters in Therisso were open to the public with free admission and access to the digital applications developed for each site.
In addition, the Residence Museum in Chalepa hosted a special concert by the chamber music ensemble of the Chania Music School.
