02 Apr Meeting with the President of the Hellenic Parliament
On Friday, March 28, 2025, the President of the Hellenic Parliament and President of the National Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, Mr. Nikitas Kaklamanis, met with the General Director of the Foundation, Mr. Nikolaos Papadakis, in his office at the Parliament.
This was Mr. Kaklamanis’s first meeting with representatives of the Foundation following his assumption of duties. Also present were member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and MP for Chania, Ms. Dora Bakoyannis, the Secretary General of the Parliament, Mr. Vasilis Bagiokos, and the Foundation’s Deputy Directors of Programming and Scientific Work, Ms. Argyro Vatsakis and Mr. Giorgos Koukourakis, respectively. Due to unforeseen obligations, the remaining Board members – MPs representing Chania – were unable to attend.
The President of the Parliament was briefed on the Foundation’s ongoing work and future plans, as the institution celebrates 25 years since its establishment. Particular emphasis was placed on the Foundation’s long-standing collaboration with the national delegation and the Parliament’s Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy.
