Online productions of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”.

The Foundation has developed new online actions in order to keep the communication alive during the pandemic. The audiovisual production “From the bottom of the oceans…” has been posted on the Foundation’s YouTube channel. It is based on an idea of ​​the Cretan actor Nikolas Lakiotakis, who lives and works in Paris and Athens. The video presents excerpts from Lettres Ouvetres by Victor Hugo (1866) and the poem Hymn of Crete by Kostis Palamas.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Union of Crete with Greece, an extremely interesting speech by the great hierarch Ireneos Galanakis has been posted on the Foundation’s YouTube channel.
