An exhibition on the theme “Politics and Society in the Cretan State, 1898-1913” is taking place in Athens, at the exhibition space of the Hellenic Parliament, located at 22-24 Amalias Avenue (entrance from Souri Street), until February 18, 2024.
The exhibition is organized by the Foundation of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy and the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos.” Through original documents (textiles, coins, memorabilia, scrapbooks, books, postcards, letters, foreign magazines) and reproductions of characteristic and rare photographic material, visitors can trace the historical journey of the state entity called the “Cretan State”.
