The National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” participated at the 1st International Festival of Creativity at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, on October 10–11.
The festival was dedicated to creative learning — a two-day event of experimentation, discussion, and networking with 800 participants from 17 countries. Innovative workshops, lectures, and round tables brought together distinguished educators, artists, and researchers from around the world, invited by the Da Vinci Museum and the Festival’s co-organizers: the Tinkering Studio at the Exploratorium in San Francisco and the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab in Boston.
Creativity is gaining ever greater value and importance in both formal and informal education.
The Foundation was represented by Ria Markoulaki, Head of the Foundation’s Educational Programs Department, along with the department’s team.
