On 7 February 2026 Eleftherios Venizelos, the last surviving grandson of Eleftherios Venizelos and a valuable supporter of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” since its establishment in 2000, passed away.
The contribution of both him and his wife, Lily, has been invaluable.
