25 May Celebration of the International Museum Day

The National Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” celebrated International Museum Day, on Sunday, 17 May at the Residence Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos in Halepa and at the Headquarters of the 1905 Revolution in Theriso.
The main activity at the Residence Museum was an original family Tinkering workshop. Children and adults shared a unique hands-on experience, using simple materials, imagination and enthusiasm to connect the past with the present while discovering new ways of expression and learning.
Visitors to the museum also enjoyed an interactive augmented reality tour on their mobile phones, spent creative time in the attic with interactive and traditional games, and participated in a treasure hunt.
