07 Jun Α memorial event-tribute to Giannis Kokolakis.
On Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 19:30 in the courtyard of the Residence – Museum of Eleftherios Venizelos in Halepa will be held a memorial event – tribute to Giannis Kokolakis organized by the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”.
The Speakers of the event will be: Iakovos (James) Boutzoukas, President of the Pancretan Union of America, Nikos Kastrinakis, General Supervisor of the Pancretan Union of America, Dimitris Halivelakis, f. President of the Miami Cretan Association, businessman and the daughter of the honored Maria Kokolaki – Kastrinaki.
A souvenir presentation to the Kokolakis family and a video screening for the honoree will follow.
Giannis Kokolakis (1935-2021) was an admirer of Eleftherios Venizelos and an ardent supporter of the Foundation. For his great contribution to the Foundation, he was named its Great Benefactor.
