Event for Pavlos Giparis.

An event dedicated to the activity of Pavlos Giparis during the Macedonian Struggle and the Balkan Wars, as well as his relationship with Eleftherios Venizelos, was organised in Asi Gonia of Apokoronas (Hania) on July 21st, 2002, by the Foundation and the Community of Asi Gonia.
Speakers of the event were: Konstantinos Vakalopoulos, History Professor at the Univeristy of Thessaloniki, on the topic "Pavlos Giparis and the Macedonian Struggle" and Ioannis Verivakis, General and Honorary Chief of Defence Staff, on the topic "Eleftherios Venizelos and Pavlos Giparis".
The event, being part of the Foundation’s events for the 100 years of the beginning of the Macedonian Struggle and 90 years of the Balkan Wars, was organised in collaboration with the Cultural Association and Giparis Family Association.
