Event for the anniversary of the unification of Crete with Greece.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Crete’s unification with Greece, the Foundation organised an event on December 1st at the Cultural Centre of Hania.
The speaker of the event was Metropolitan of Kissamos & Selino, Irineos Galanakis, chairman of the Foundation.
The event included the projection of the historical documentary “Κρήτη: Πορεία προς την ένωση, 1821-1913 (Crete: The way towards the unification 1821- 1913)”, and a performance of anniversary songs by the Choir of Hania under the direction of G. Mentzelopoulos.
The event was held with the support of the Metropolis of Kydonia & Apokoronas, the Prefecture and the Municipality of Hania.
