Inauguration of the Vloom mansion (building of Administrative and Scientific Services) by the President of the Hellenic Parliament.

The President of the Greek Parliament Anna Benaki Psarouda arrived in Chania on December 1st in order to inaugurate the new building of the Foundation, accommodating its Administrative and Scientific Services.
The historical building of the Vloom mansion is located opposite the Eleftherios Venizelos' residence.
The building was bought in 2001 by the Foundation with the funding of the Hellenic Parliament and it was integrated in the 3rd CSF for its restoration.
The building inauguration was held on December 1st, at 19:30, after the meeting of the Foundation's Board of Directors and Founding Members, presided by the President of the Hellenic Parliament.
During the inauguration, the Foundation “Stavros S. Niarhos” was acclaimed Grand Benefactor of the Foundation for its contribution to the purchase of the building equipment.
The event was organised on December 1st, in order to coincide with the anniversary of the Unification of Crete with Greece.
