Presentation of the book “Κωνσταντίνος Κ. Μητσοτάκης. Στην αυγή της κρητικής ελευθερίας (1868-1898)” [“Konstantinos K. Mitsotakis. At the dawn of Crete’s freedom” (1868-1898)] in Chania.

On September 20th, 2004, the presentation of the book of Zoi Mitsotaki “Κωνσταντίνος Κ. Μητσοτάκης. Στην αυγή της κρητικής ελευθερίας (1868-1898)” [“Konstantinos K. Mitsotakis. At the dawn of Crete's freedom (1868-1898)], published by PAPAZISIS editions, the Foundation “Konstantinos K. Mitsotakis” and the Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” was held at the Municipal Garden of Hania.
Haralambos Bournazos, historical researcher, presented the book, while passages were read by Mihalis Aerakis, manager of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Crete.
The writer Zoi Mitsotaki made a brief presentation of her work, while introductory speeches were given by the CEO of the Foundation, Nikolaos E. Papadakis, the chairman of the Foundation, Metropolitan of Kydonia & Apokoronas, Irineos, the Mayor of Hania, Kiriakos Virvidakis, the Prefect of Chania, Giorgos Katsanevakis, the chairman of the Bar Association of Hania, Dimitris Pontikakis and by the former Prime Minister of Greece, Konstantinos Mitsotakis.
The presentation was organised by the Foundation, the Foundation "Konstantinos K. Mitsotakis" in collaboration with the Municipality, the Prefecture and the Bar Association of Hania.
