On June 16th, 2002, during his stay in Crete, the Ecumenical Patriarch, Vartholomaios, visited the Foundation and the Residence of Eleftherios Venizelos.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was received by the Chairman, Irineos Galanakis, Metropolitan of Kissamos & Selino, and by the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
